Responsive Printmaking: My Aims


As in my first semester I was very experimental - this module is designed to be a place where I can focus in on the printmaking methods I resonate with most; in this instance I will be leaning mostly upon Linocut. 

My aims for this module are:
 
      Shift to a realisation-first approach - perhaps trying to take a concept from development to realisation every few weeks to produce a large body of work.
      Focus my research on Artist analysis and responses as well as Academic sources. Specifically look for artists with a “social good” portfolio.
      Produce both a traditional and digital sketchbook of development work; utilise this to make more consistent SMART/SWOT reflection points.
      Further consider traditional commerical applications of designs  


My “set outcome” for this module will revolve around wether or not I feel as though I have produced a body of work that is both professional quality and representitive of myself as a printmaker. This work should also be appropriate for use in my final show.
